What does light mean to you?
We often already know exactly how important light is in all our lives. As a species practising sun worship, our humanity draws on an ancient relationship between light and life.
Yet most of us lack an awareness of exactly how light should be designed to truly fulfil our needs.
Particularly in relation to architecture, to the spaces in which we spend our precious time of life, the power of lighting is all too often underestimated or completely misinterpreted due to a lack of knowledge of how to use this instrument.

I am Beatrice Nitsche.
I have been working as a lighting designer for over ten years and in February 2023 I completed my international master’s degree with top marks in ‘Architectural Lighting and Design Management’.
In addition to gaining accreditation and acquiring specialist knowledge through a wide variety of courses over the past decade, my in-depth experience is based primarily on my many years of working for a leading lighting design company in Dresden and the constant exchange of ideas with my colleagues. True to the belief that ‘alone we are strong, together we are unbeatable,’ this close collaboration continues to this day. In addition to architectural lighting design, I also devote myself to lighting in public areas and am a member of the Lighting Technology Society.
I will accompany you with passion from planning to execution. For light that plays the soundtrack to your life.
